  • Non-insulated Fire-resistant Aluminum Alloy Window (Series 50)

Scope of Application

High-rise residential buildings, refuge rooms

Technology and Performance

1. Applicable Standards: GB 16809-2008 “Fire-resistant Windows” and GB/T 8478-2008 “Aluminum Alloy Doors and Windows.”

2. Fire resistance: Class C, with a fire-resistance integrity of up to 1.0 hour.

3. High-quality 50 and 55 series aluminum alloy profiles are used, with reinforcing steel added inside the profile cavities.

4. Fire-resistance integrity: greater than 1.0 hour; select either insulated fire-rated glass or single-pane fire-rated glass of the corresponding rating.

5. A wide range of window types and specifications: Various window types are available (fixed windows, operable windows), and custom fabrication is also possible according to the specifications and dimensions requested by the customer.

6. Window appearance: Can match the color and shape of ordinary windows, offering a beautiful and elegant look.

Production process

Steel processing → Aluminum processing → Aluminum-steel composite → Punching → Assembly → Detailed fireproofing treatment

Material Selection and Explanation

Aluminum-alloy non-insulated fire-resistant windows feature an outer layer of aluminum alloy extrusions and an inner layer of steel profiles, combining the structural support provided by steel under fire exposure with the aesthetically pleasing appearance of aluminum. Fire-expanding sealing strips are installed at the frame–sash joints and within the profiles, enhancing air tightness, water tightness, wind-pressure resistance, and fire performance—resulting in superior overall performance compared with standard fire-resistant windows available on the market.

Load-bearing structure

Steel liners are inserted into aluminum profiles and joined through a specially designed connection to form a steel frame system that serves as the load-bearing structural support (system fire-rated window).
