Scope of Application for Electric Roller-Type Smoke-Resistant Curtains
Hotels, hospitals, large shopping malls, airports, office buildings, schools, exhibition halls, and subways
Overview
Roll-up smoke barriers are devices used in civil defense projects and high-rise buildings to create smoke compartments within underground and large-space smoke control and exhaust systems. Upon receipt of an alarm signal from the fire control center or a direct “smoke detector” signal, the roll-up smoke barrier installed above the suspended ceiling rapidly descends to a preset height, thereby establishing a smoke compartment. A smoke exhaust fan then expels the hot smoke outdoors, creating a safe environment and buying valuable time for the rescue and evacuation of personnel in the fire-affected area.
The roller-type smoke curtain is installed within the suspended ceiling, offering excellent concealment; it features automatic descent in the event of a power failure, interlock with the fire control system, and activation by smoke detector signals, ensuring reliable operation under all emergency conditions.
Technical Performance
1. Manually control the rolling shutter door to move upward, downward, and stop. Receive smoke detector signals and automatically execute the primary and secondary lowering functions.
2. Receive signals from the fire control center, automatically activate the lowering function, and send door-position status signals back to the fire control center.
3. In fire alarm mode, after the door has fully opened, pressing the up button will cause it to reverse and close; once the door reaches the mid-position, it will delay for 0–180 seconds before descending to the fully closed position. The button control circuit can be configured with an electronic lock. 4. The single downward travel time is adjustable, with t < 60 s.
5. Return ascent dwell time is adjustable, 0–180 s. 6. Return ascent time is adjustable, t < 60 s.
7. The median dwell time is adjustable, with a range of 0–180 seconds.
8. The fire control center signal may be a contact signal or a DC 24 V voltage signal.
9. All output contact ratings: AC 220 V/5 A; DC 30 V/5 A
10. Standby power consumption < 10 W
11. Controlled on/off motor capacity: <3 kW
